At Hills Podiatry Centre we are not in the business of selling orthotics. We aim to provide our clients with the best treatment plan possible. This will at times involve Orthotic Therapy.
You may find an orthotic useful if you have flat feet, you often sprain your ankle, one side of your shoe sole wears faster than the other, or if you experience heel, foot, shin and/or knee pain.
To see if orthotics are appropriate for you, you will need a biochemical assessment with your podiatrist. The assessment process allows us to determine the correct prescription for your orthotic. Other factors that effect your orthotic prescription include lifestyle, activities, occupation, the shoes you wear and your weight. At Hills Podiatry Centre, we cast your feet using the Foot Alignment System.
